FAQ

Questions & answers

Is it free?

Yes, completely free, with no ads and no subscriptions.

Will I lose my usual new tab page?

You keep its most useful parts: a search box that uses your default search engine, and shortcuts to your most-visited sites. The first time, Chrome may ask whether to keep the new page; choose “Keep it”.

How do I match my mosque's times?

In settings (the gear icon), choose your city and your country's calculation method. If a prayer is still a minute or two off, adjust it by the minute.

Where do the athkar come from?

From Hisn al-Muslim (Fortress of the Muslim). Each thikr shows its hadith source and its virtue where one is narrated.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Prayer times are calculated on your device, and all athkar and fonts are built into the extension.

Which browsers does it work on?

Google Chrome, and Chromium-based browsers that install from the Chrome Web Store, such as Microsoft Edge and Brave.

Is the interface in English?

The extension's page is in Arabic, the language of the athkar. The store listing and this site are available in English.
